Quantum Brain Healing Uses Vinpocetine to Treat Dementia, Memory Loss, and Stroke
Quantum Brain Healing combines therapeutic doses of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, nutritional supplements, and herbs to treat or heal many brain diseases. This may heal the disease, treat the disease, or reduce the amount of a drug. Vinpocetine is an herbal extract that is derived from the periwinkle plant. This herb extract has many properties which make it very important in healing the brain This extract crosses blood brain barrier and acts as a neuroprotectant to protect the brain cells and keep them alive longer.
Vinpocetine is an antioxidant that improves brain circulation and metabolism. It can be used to protect the brain for patients that are subject to strokes and ischemia. After a patient has a stroke, this extract can be useful in protecting brain cells in the event of a future attack. The extract acts as an anticonvulsant and antismolytic. This anticonvulsant action allows it to reduce seizures in some and prevent seizures in others. This delays the decline for many Alzheimer’s patients. It can prevent atheriosclerosis when taken on a long term basis. It slows or prevents abnormal platelet clumping. This is considered an anti-aging brain supplement. It is not able to be used by those taking blood thinners. Vinpocetine should not be taken with large quantities of green tea due to its blood thinning properties.
Vinpocetine can be useful for many people in treating ischemia, dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, seizures, and memory loss. It can also be used as a memory enhancer for those in serious study situations like older people returning to college. Vinpocetine may be useful in treating epilepsy caused by traumatic injury. This treatment would be best when tried within one to six months after the injury. It would need to be combined with other Quantum Brain Healing therapy.
