The winners were chosen by a panel of judges from Symantec?s UK and Ireland channel team and were presented by Danny Dawes, Director, EMEA Managed Security Services for Symantec.Country Manager, Divyesh Lakhani was at the Gala Dinner and accepted the award on behalf of the whole Codework Altimate team. Manchester, UK? 21 March 2011 – Codework ALTIMATE were today notified they have been successful in their bid to retain their rights to distribute the Symantec Enterprise Security portfolio.

Following a rigorous tender process that began in January with ten distributors, Codework ALTIMATE completed a written RFP, followed by a presentation to a senior board at the Symantec Head Office. Finally, a presentation of their 30, 60, 90 day plan sealed their bid and their place as a strategic Symantec distributor.

This Request for Proposal came as a result of a Symantec initiative to cut their previous number of distributors in order to streamline and inject value back in to the channel. The bid includes the rights to Symantec Data Loss Prevention, Control Compliance Suite as well as the recently acquired PGP.

Country Manager Divyesh Lakhani commented, ?We are delighted with today?s announcement and are eager to put in to practice the plans we presented. We have always seen great potential in the Symantec Enterprise security portfolio and invested long before this RFP was announced. Manchester, UK – 12th August 2011 – ALTIMATE UK (formerly Codework) today announced an extension to its Security and Compliance portfolio by gaining distribution rights for Security vendor Cryptzone.Cryptzone offers proactive user-friendly solutions that mitigate IT security risk and offer solutions across four key areas; Policy Compliance, Content Security, Secure Access and Endpoint Security.
