Caregiving can present emotional and physical strain and for family caregivers it can also present a financial stress. It is not unusual for the caregiver to experience frustration, anger, guilt, isolation and exhaustion. Maria Wellisch with 40 years of experience in long term care will present caregivers with practical information and solutions to liv-ing with dementia as a caregiver. The dementia brain tour is a free educational video resource that includes chapters on the brain and how brain cells function, Alzheimer’s disease, Posterior Cortical Atrophy, vascular dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, fronto-temporal dementia and other rarer causes of dementia.
